Departmental Activities of Political Science:
On 26 November 2024, the Department of Political Science celebrated "Indian Constitution Day". On this occasion, Dr. Annasaheb Hardare introduced the Indian Constitution to the students. After that, the preamble of the Constitution of India was read collectively by all the students of the college. On this occasion, a wall poster introducing the Indian Constitution was inaugurated in the presence of the Secretary of the Institute, Dr. Anilrao Kurade and Principal, Dr. S.M. Kadam.

On behalf of the Department of Political Science, a 'New Voter Registration Campaign' was implemented in the college on 07 August 2024. On this occasion the election officer Mr. Sheikh Mr. Digvijay Kurade and Principal Dr. S. M. Kadam guided the students. After that voter registration forms were distributed to the students who completed eighteen years.
On behalf of the Shivraj College Department of Political Science, a study tour was organized on 30 /08 / 2024 under the Additional District Sessions Court Active Learning. Ms.D.M. Pawar, and Adv. Ms. M. M. Bide guided the students on Lawes and legal matters. After which Mr. Vinod Bhilare gave information about the judicial structure and functioning and inspected every function of the court.
Martyr's Day was celebrated on 23rd March 2024 on behalf of Shivraj College Political Science Department. Dr. N. B. Ekile delivered lecture on the students about the contribution of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev in the freedom movement. At this time Dr. Anilrao Kurade ( Secretary - K.V.R.S.S.Gad ) Dr. S.M Kadam ( Principal Shivraj College ,.Gad ) , faculty, administrative staff and students were present.
On behalf of the Department of Political Science, and Neharu yuva Kendra Kolhapur In association with 'Voter Awareness and Voter Registration Campaign' was implemented in the college on 18 March 2024. On this occasion the Nodal election officer Dr.Annasaheb Hardare Dr.S.D.Sawant Mr. Digvijay Kurade and Principal Dr. S. M. Kadam guided the students. After that, voter registration forms were distributed to the students who completed eighteen years.
On 25th January 2024, a public awareness campaign on voting was organized on the occasion of National Voters' Day in association with the Department of Political Science and Sub District Duputy Collector Office Gadhinglaj .On this occasion, Provincial Officer Hon'ble Babasaheb Waghmode and Tehsildar Rishikesh Shelke guided the students.
On 25 January 2024, a Students awareness campaign on voting was organized in collaboration with the Department of Political Science, Office on the occasion of National Voters' Day. On this occasion, a rangoli competition was organized for voting awareness.

At the beginning image worship of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar is done by the hands of honorable Dr.Anilrao Kurade (Secretary, KVRSSS, Gad.), Dr. and Dr. S. M. Kadam (Principal, Shivraj College, Gad.).In this program Preamble of Constitution is read publicaly.Prof. (Dr.) N. R. Kolhapure (Head, Dept. of Political Science) introduced the importance of Constitution. Chief Geust Dr.Anilrao Kurade delivers a lecture on Constitution Day in front of student. He elaborates the process of preparing Constitution. He also mentioned the importance and need of Constitution during his lecture.The students of Political Science Department and B.A.I students prepared a wallpaper on Constitution. About 150 students participated in all the activities on Constitution Day.Dr. A. G. Hardare expressed the vote of thanks.
शिवराज कॉलेज राज्यशास्त्र विभाग आणि महाराष्ट्र शासनाचे जिल्हाधिकारी कार्यालय यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने 19 जुलै 2023 रोजी मतदार जागृती मोहीम पूर्ण झाली. सौ.किरण कुलकर्णी (अतिरिक्त जिल्हाधिकारी, कोल्हापूर) श्री.ऋषिकेश शेळके व डॉ.अनिलराव कुराडे यांनी मार्गदर्शन केले यावेळी 87 विद्यार्थी उपस्थित होते.
Educational facility guidance camp under SARATHI, RAJASWA of Government of Maharashtra was completed on 19th July 2023 in association with Shivraj College Department of Political Science and District Collector Office of Government of Maharashtra. Sou.Kiran Kulkarni (Additional Collector, Kolhapur) Mr. Rishikesh Shelke and Dr. Anilrao Kurade guided 94 students were present on this occasion

Shaheed Day was celebrated on 23rd March 2023 on behalf of Political Science Department. First, the image of martyr Bhagat Singh was worshiped by Dr. Anilrao Kurade (Secretary, KVRSSS ). Dr. Nand Kumar Kolhapure reviewed the work of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Principal Dr. S.M . Kadam presided over the program.
